SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIENDS

Recording Studio

Having the right tools is necessary for any job and voice work is no exception. Over the years, I’ve found the following  pieces of equipment deliver high-quality output for my clients:

Process

I want to make the audio development and creation process as painless as possible. These are the steps I follow to make sure you get exactly what you’re after.

01

Brief

The process truly starts with you. Your brief is what allows me to understand your specific needs, your expectations, and preferred format. The more detailed you can be at this stage, the better I will be able to bring your ideas to life.

Once I understand your project, I will produce a quote and timeline for you.

02

Research & Recording

I will work through the script and any music provided to get a feel for the source material, highlighting any difficult phrases and words to ensure I pronounce them correctly.

If needed, I will look for royalty-free music and, if it isn’t available, create it using music scoring software. It’s then time to record the vocals in the studio!

03

Editing

I produce a number of different takes to make sure I get the variety needed to bring the script to life.

Breath noises and any distracting sounds are removed to make sure the finished file is just what you had in mind.

If I spot any vocal mistakes or ways I can create a better version, then I’ll revisit the studio and edit as needed.

04

Delivery

Finally, your audio or lyrics are delivered to you in your preferred format. Depending on the service you selected, you may have a few different takes to choose from so that you can pick the one that best matches your ideal audio.

If there are any performance mistakes, you can request a revision free of charge.
