40 Voices Table
This is the table that I plan to fill in as I work on developing character voices for each of the categories listed – please do check back later on to see how I am getting on! I’ve decided on 5 variations for each character type, so lots to work on; 40 voices, in fact!
Jon Paget – Voice Acting Demo
My journey to try and make a profession of voice acting starts here. As part of this goal, I have combined some of my previous audio efforts to create a vocal demo, which include a few auditions I undertook in 2013 on the voiceacting.space website, rehearsal CDs I created for stage performances and character voices used in my online roleplay.
Hopefully over the next year, monitoring my progressing through the ’#40 voices’ challenge as well as working to hone the voices of my characters in my online roleplay Agora Core, I will be able to update this demo. Stay tuned!

Welcome!
Hi, and welcome to this blog. The intention is to share my attempts to step into the profession of voice acting and extras work. My professional background is working as a project manager in the public sector, but I have trod the boards at amateur level in plays as well as in musicals and operas. I also run an online roleplay, which I hope will provide some valuable voice experience – more on this later.
In the meantime, I hope you will enjoy the journey with me as I explore what it takes to become a professional and also laugh (but hopefully not too much) at my vocal attempts – part of the ’#40 voices’ series.
